Inspiring creativity!
Whether you're looking for an after school or Weekend session, our Art Clubs are the perfect place for children who love drawing, painting and making to spend time being creative and learning new skills. Our ethos is one of bringing great ideas and fun projects together in a way that will both inspire and build confidence in our young artists.
With new projects each time the children will have the opportunity to try their hand at a range of paint techniques, learn skills for 3D modelling, and explore different ways of printing to create unique art projects. Over the year we'll look at traditional and more modern styles, explore form and textures, have a go at recreating artwork from around the world as well exploring seasonal themes. To help guide our work we'll focus on a different artist each half term - whether it be cubism with Picasso, Keith Haring's Street Art or Hundertwasser's close connection to nature - there's plenty to engage everyone! Children will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials including pastels, acrylics, watercolours, printing inks and clay. Each term will be different and help your child to develop their own style and skills. All classes and clubs are run by experienced tutors with years of working with children and young people. We are creative individuals and love sharing our passion for art, craft and all things creative! |
ONLINE ART CLUBS
Not local? No worries! We’ve wrapped up everything great about our face to face classes and created our Online Art Club! First established back in April 2020 during the 1st lockdown, our Online Art Club has gone from strength to strength and continued to provide engaging art education, inspiration and much needed creative fun to many families since then. Our Online Art Club community is so special that - lockdown or no lockdown - it's now a permanent addition to our face to face classes!
Take a look at our TRAILER VIDEO to see how we set things up! https://youtu.be/PdhQhFH2fyE
All our Art Club sessions have a strong art history thread, and each half term we study a different featured artist - learning about their lives and art styles (ranging from traditional to modern, abstract to pop art - there's something for everyone!) Each project has a full video tutorial - perfect for fitting into any routine and working at your own pace - or if you prefer the buzz of a live class you can join one of our Zoom sessions and create alongside our tutor and other young artists. Our flexible programme means that everyone in your household can create in the way that suits them best - whether that's Live with Laura, after school, or the whole family together at the weekend over a video tutorial (we even have parents taking time out to create with our projects on their own once the kids are in bed!)
The cost of this Art Club Subscription is £15 per month, per family (so everyone can join in the creative fun for the same price!)
If you'd like to get an idea of how we set up our online video tutorials before deciding to join, then please take a look at our "Paul Klee: Letter Art" example project posted for free back in April to help inspire everyone during lock-down: https://youtu.be/zJxSgkjZ3gc
We’d love to welcome you and your children to our supportive online kid’s art community!
